It all began in 1966 when the father, João Conde, opened a small workshop in downtown Lisbon where he repaired all kinds of watches. The world of watches had always fascinated him and became part of his life very early on. Customers came through word of mouth and quickly the need arose to open up a shop that combined the technical aspects of watchmaking craftsmanship, with a pleasant space where customers could satisfy their curiosity about all things related to watches. The store opened on the 15^th of November 1985 and became a mandatory stop for workers, tourists and celebrities alike, including prestigious politicians and local artists.
